We invite all who seek the practice of Zen-Jou, on a Christian basis, to join us on this path of the “Exercises and Renunciation” (Shugyō).
The content of Zen-Jou is mediated by Fr. Gebhard Kohler by means of week-long courses (Sesshins) and through publications.
Zen-Jou finds its expression in the Community of the practitioners, who constitute the Zen-Jou Community – Return to the Source of Life.
The activities of this Community are supported and continued by international patrons of the Zen-Jou Community foundation.
